You Can Sue a Bar that Over-Served a Drunk Driver or that Served a Minor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Drunken drivers injure and kill countless people on our roads and highways. All too often, drunk drivers lack adequate insurance coverage to compensate their victims. Under many states’ dram shop laws, a bar is responsible for serving an already intoxicated or underage person. If that person, after drinking at a bar or restaurant, then injures or kills another person, the owner of the bar, as well as the employee who actually served the liquor is liable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
